It revolves around 2 girls' fall in love with local stage 'Getai' and been dreaming to become the most popular Getai 'Jie Mei Hua' in mid-eighties Singapore. A traditional low class job that youngsters do not really appreciate and acceptable. Next time, pass by a getai, I will stop my footsteps and engossed into their performance with both my parents. Another strongly recommend film to those who is a Hokkien Lang(like me).
